SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - U.S. Global Investors Inc. late Friday
reported fiscal second-quarter net earnings of $2.465 million, or 16 cents a
share, flat versus $2.46 million, or 16 cents a share, in the same period last
year.
Revenue in the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 12% to $13.9 million, the San
Antonio-based investment advisory firm said.
Assets under management for SEC-registered funds and other clients stood at
about $5.7 billion at the end of the quarter, up 14% from a year ago.
The company's shares closed at 417.45.
