U.S. Dollar Rises Against Most Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against most major currencies in
the early European session on Thursday.
The U.S. dollar rose to more than a 2-week high of 1.5580
against the pound, from an early low of 1.5617.
Against the New Zealand, the Australia and the Canadian dollars,
the greenback advanced to a 5-year high of 0.6669, a 3-day high of
0.7611 and nearly a 3-month high of 1.2607 from early lows of
0.6735, 0.7656 and 1.2479, respectively.
The greenback climbed to a 6-day high of 123.52 against the yen,
from an early low of 123.13.
Moving away from an early low of 0.9447 against the Swiss franc,
the greenback edged up to 0.9488.
The greenback may test resistance near 1.51 against the pound,
0.65 against the kiwi, 0.75 against the aussie, 1.28 against the
loonie, 125.00 against the yen and 0.98 against the franc.
