Tullow Oil plc ('Tullow' or the 'Company')

Director/PDMR Shareholding Correction

Tullow announces the following correction and update of the total holdings of ordinary shares of GBP0.10 each in the capital of Tullow ('Shares') held by Angus McCoss (Chief Exploration Officer) and Paul McDade (Chief Operating Officer).

Angus McCoss

On 11 February 2015, the Company announced that Angus McCoss exercised 'nil cost' options over a total of 25,819 Shares granted to him in 2012 pursuant to terms of the Tullow Oil Deferred Share Bonus Plan 2005 ('DSBP'). On the same date, Mr McCoss sold 12,166 Shares to discharge tax obligations arising on exercise of his options, leaving a balance of 13,653 Shares retained by Mr McCoss.

These 13,653 Shares were subsequently omitted when calculating Mr McCoss' enlarged holding in Director/PDMR Shareholding announcements released on 9 April 2015 (RNS Number : 7314J), 9 June 2015 (RNS Number : 6646S), 8 October 2015 (RNS Number : 7301B) and 13 January 2016 (RNS Number : 7578L).

Prior to 10 February 2016 Mr McCoss held 266,228 Shares in the Company.

Paul McDade

On 20 March 2015, the Company announced that Paul McDade acquired 45,000 Shares.

These 45,000 Shares were subsequently omitted when calculating Mr McDade's enlarged holding in Director/PDMR Shareholding announcements released on the 9 April 2015 (RNS Number : 7314J), 9 July 2015 (RNS Number : 6646S), 8 October 2015 (RNS Number : 7301B) and 13 January 2016 (RNS Number : 7578L).

As at 11 February 2016, Mr McDade holds 315,921 Shares in the Company.
