LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL PLC (the "Company")
VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
In conformity with DTR 5.6.1 we would like to notify the market of
the following:
Pursuant to the Placing announced by the Company on 23 September 2009
the Company unconditionally allotted 56,100,000 ordinary shares at an
issue price of 500 pence per share on 5 October 2009.
At the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital
consists of 622,878,501 ordinary shares of 50 pence each with voting
rights. The Company holds 1,050,000 ordinary shares in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights, excluding shares held
in treasury, in Liberty International PLC is 621,828,501.
The above figure of 621,828,501 may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they
are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their
interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules.
