Total Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Kingfisher
plc ("the Company") notifies the market that as of 30 September 2009:

| i) | the Companys issued share capital consists of |
| | 2,360,883,923 ordinary shares of 15 5/7p each admitted to |
| | trading, each of which with one vote; |
| | |

| ii) | no shares have been bought back and held in treasury by |
| | the Company; and |
| | |
+--------+------------------------------------------------------------+
| iii) | the total number of shares in issue in the Company with |
| | voting rights is therefore 2,360,883,923, which figure may |
| | be used by shareholders (and others with notification |
| | obligations) as the denominator for the calculation by |
| | which they will determine if they are required to notify |
| | their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the |
| | Company under the FSAs Disclosure and Transparency Rules. |
