Voting Rights and Capital as at 30 September 2008
This announcement is made in accordance with DTR5.6.
During the month of September 2008 Fidelity Asian Values PLC repurchased
650,106 of its own shares, the transactions being duly notified in accordance
with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
In addition to the above the Company announced on 12 September 2008 that a
tender offer had been completed with a total of 41,262,764 shares repurchased
by the Company for cancellation.
As at 30 September 2008 Fidelity Asian Values PLC's issued share capital
consists of 61,244,330 ordinary shares with voting rights. Fidelity Asian
Values PLC holds no shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Fidelity Asian Values PLC is
61,244,330.
The above figure (61,244,330) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Fidelity Asian
Values PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
