In conformity with Section 5.6.1 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules the Company
confirms that as at 31 May 2008 its capital
consists of 146,040,078 ordinary shares with voting rights and holds no ordinary shares in
Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Venture Production plc is 146,040,078.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by
which they will determine if they are required
