SCARBOROUGH MINERALS plc
("Scarborough" or the "Company")
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we hereby
notify the market that as at close of business on 29 June 2007, the issued share
capital with voting rights of Scarborough Minerals plc consisted of 104,364,898
ordinary shares of 30p each (unchanged since 31 May 2007) with one voting right
attached to each ordinary share, of which:
(i) 25,777,719 ordinary shares are represented by CDIs which are quoted on
the ASX; and
(ii) 2,866,421 ordinary shares are held in Treasury (unchanged since 31 May 2007),
Therefore the total number of voting rights in Scarborough Minerals plc is
101,498,477 (unchanged since 31 May 2007) and this figure should be used by holders
of ordinary shares or CDIs as the denominator for the calculations by which they
will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change
to their interest in, Scarborough Minerals plc under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
