Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Torotrak, (LSE: TRK), a leading developer and supplier of emissions reduction and fuel efficiency technology for vehicles, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Alstrom as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2016.

Eric is currently the President of Danfoss Power Solutions, a leading supplier of high performance systems and solutions to the off-highway vehicle sector. Prior to that, Eric was Managing Director of Benteler Automobiletechnik GmbH, a global Tier 1 supplier of chassis, structures and engine and exhaust systems to the major automotive OEMs. Between 1992 and 2008, Eric held various senior management roles at General Motors Corporation including Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain for GM Europe and Managing Director of Adam Opel GmbH.

Eric has a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Gothenburg School of Economics and a M.Sc. in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He brings a deep understanding and knowledge of the automotive industry both from an OEM and Tier 1 perspective together with international experience having worked in the USA and Japan and extensively across Europe and in Germany for the last 10 years.

With the appointment of Eric as a Non-Executive Director, as previously announced John Weston will step down from the Board on 31 December 2015.

Eric Alstrom was president and CEO of Sauer Danfoss Inc, a company that was listed on the New York Stock Exchange until April 2013 when it was acquired by Danfoss A/S. There are no further disclosures required pursuant to paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority in relation to this appointment.
