LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Toledo Mining Corp. Plc. said Monday it has
appointed Simon Purkiss and Felix Pole as non-executive directors, adding
Chairman Chris Kyriakou has resigned with immediate effect, as expected.
The changes come after European Nickel bought a 19.3 percent stake in Toledo
for $22 million in May. Under the deal, European Nickel was allowed to nominate
two directors.
The company said in the statement, non-executive directors Robert Cleary and
Roger Shakesby have also resigned with immediate effect.
