SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Time Warner Inc. on Monday named Edward
Ruggiero as treasurer and Douglas Shapiro as head of investor relations.
Ruggiero, who is currently senior vice president of corporate finance,
succeeds Raymond Murphy, who is retiring.
Shapiro, currently vice president of investor relations, succeeds James
Burtson, who was named to a new position as senior vice president with
responsibility for overseeing Time Warner's mergers and acquisitions efforts.
Shares of New York-based Time Warner rose 2.4% to $14.52.
