NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Time Warner Inc.'s HBO and Apple Inc. Tuesday
said they have signed a deal to make HBO programming available for purchase and
download from the iTunes Store.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Episodes of "Sex and the City," "The Wire" and "Flight of the Conchords" are
priced at $1.99 per episode, and "The Sopranos," "Deadwood" and "Rome" are
priced at $2.99 per episode.
Time Warner shares rose 0.6% to $16.14 in morning trading. Apple shares rose
0.6% to $189.10.
