PARIS (Thomson Financial) - French media technology group Thomson SA said
its Premier Retail Networks (PRN) division has formed an alliance with Cabco
Group to develop their in-store media activities.
No financial terms were disclosed.
PRN provides content for screens inside retail outlets while Cabco is an
operator of electronic shopping carts.
Under their agreement, Thomson said PRN will connect its platform with
Cabco's display screen technology in order to coordinate content, advertising
and measurement.
In addition, PRN will provide advertising sales for Cabco's TV Kart and the
two companies will work together to develop a range of interactive services for
advertisers and retailers.
