up-and-coming physicians, pediatricians and pharmacists).
"We are delighted to learn that Dr. Farthing is being honored by TheBody.com
with this national recognition for his efforts to advance the field of HIV
care, prevention, and outreach one patient at a time," said Michael Weinstein,
AIDS Healthcare Foundation President. "Dr. Farthing has been an integral part
of AHF for over ten years, and we are proud of his vision and leadership in
shepherding our medical care and services both here in the US and as we expand
our mission globally. This 'Outstanding Physician' award is a well-deserved
recognition of Charles' ongoing contribution and commitment to our mission to
provide 'cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay.'"
