MIAMI, Aug. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Latin Trade's LT1000, the ranking of the 1,000 largest companies in Latin America shows some impressive changes in some of the companies' positions and revenue growth.

One of many examples is Argentina's Pampa Energía, which climbed 114 spots from last year's ranking. The company's results were boosted, among other things, by its acquisition of an additional 12 percent stake in Petrobras Argentina in the second half of 2016, bringing its total stake in that firm to 90 percent.

Other companies that show great performance include Bancolombia, Banco de Bogotá, Inversiones CMPC and BRF Brasil.
