- Adds New Client While Supporting Returning Customer

(AMEX:ADG) announces its wholly owned subsidiary MECAR S.A. has received contracts valued at more than $7.4M to provide 120mm mortar ammunition and 90mm ammunition for a new member of NATO and for a returning Western European client. This ammunition is to be delivered and revenue recognized in 2009 and 2010.
Major General (Ret) John Marcello, Chief Executive Officer of the Allied Defense Group stated, "These new orders add to an already historically high level of confirmed backlog now measuring more than $166M in funded plus $88M in unfunded contracts.
