SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. said
Monday the Food and Drug Administration has granted final approval for its
generic version of
Janssen's antipsychotic agent Risperdal.
The Israeli pharmaceutical company said it has begun shipment of the
products.
The brand products had annual sales of about $2.6 billion in the
United States for the 12 ended March 31, 2008, based on IMS sales data.
Teva shares were up 2.2% at $46.19.
