The Company has been notified that Byron Grote, Non-executive Director of the Company, purchased American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") in the Company as set out in the table below. One ADR is equivalent to three Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each in the Company.

The nil-cost options were granted under the rules of the Tesco PLC Performance Share Plan 2011 on the dates shown in the table.
