Offer Talks Terminated
On 13 December 2007, it was announced that Coms was in discussions with
Sim4Travel Holdings plc ("Sim4Travel") (PLUS: SIMO) which may have led to an
offer for the whole of the issued share capital of Sim4Travel. The board of Coms
today announces that the discussions have now been terminated.
Accordingly, the conditional, irrevocable and binding undertaking given to Coms
by Nettworx plc, one of Sim4Travel's principal shareholders, will terminate with
immediate effect.
Jason Drummond, executive chairman of Coms, said: "Coms remains committed to
VoIP and mobile phone convergence and will seek alternate methods of expanding
in this sector".
