WESTPORT, Conn. (AP) - Diversified manufacturer Terex Corp. said Friday its
planned $480.6 million acquisition of construction equipment maker A.S.V. Inc.
received antitrust approval.
The company said the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust
Act had expired, clearing the way for the tender offer to go through. In
January, Terex offered to buy all of ASV's outstanding stock for $18 per share.
A.S.V. makes compact track loaders used in construction and is based in
Grand Rapids, Minn.
