AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Dutch competition authority NMa said on
Friday it has approved Royal Ten Cate NV and Oranjewoud NV's proposed
acquisition of synthetic turf company Edel Grass NV.
The NMa said no permit is needed for the acquisition and that it informed
the involved companies on April 29.
Any possible appeal must be lodged within six weeks, the NMa said.
Oranjewoud and Ten Cate said in December they have signed a letter of intent
to acquire Edel Grass, adding that they expected the deal to close at the start
of 2008.
