LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Teledyne Technologies Inc. said Wednesday its
Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. unit has won a follow-on order worth $92 million
from Usec Inc. to manufacture and deliver 540 gas centrifuge service modules.
Teledyne Brown expects to deliver the service models in early 2011.
The order comes in addition to a previously announced $19.4 million contract
from Usec to manufacture an initial complement of 36 service modules. The
modules are a key component of Usec's new gas centrifuge uranium enrichment
plant.
