MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Telecom Italia SpA said it will start selling
Apple Inc's third generation iPhone terminal in its 2,600-outlet TIM retail
chain from July 11.
The iPhone has successfully been certified to work on Telecom Italia, the
company said.
The iPhone will be sold on a subscription basis as well as with prepaid
cards, it said.
The latest third generation iPhone includes services included in current
versions as well as global positioning satellite services for the development of
advanced local services, it said.
