PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Petrochemicals engineering firm Tecnhip said its
joint venture with Norway's Subsea 7 Inc. has won two contracts for subsea
installation and pipeline supply projects in New Zealand and Vietnam.
Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
The joint venture Technip Subsea 7 Asia Pacific Pty Ltd won a contract with
Shell Todd Oil Services Ltd to supply diving support services for an offshore
project in New Zealand. The contract was completed in January.
The joint venture has also won a contract with shipping firm MISC Berhad to
supply flexible risers and flowlines for an offshore oil project in Vietnam.
Delivery is expected in the fourth quarter.
