BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - The European Commission said it cleared the
proposed acquisition of Sweden's Scribona AB. by US-based company Tech Data
Corp.
Both companies are active in the wholesale distribution of information
technology products.
The commission said its investigation showed that the deal would not
significantly impede effective competition in Europe.
