LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Tanzania Gold PLC said initial sampling results
from Mkurumu gold project in Tanzania are highly encouraging and further confirm
the quality of the project.
The results from a total of 40 rock chip and channel samples correlate well
with previous test results and reports of visible gold and exceptionally high
gold test values within selected areas of the Mkurumu deposit, the AIM-quoted
company said.
It added that the final results from the soil geochemical sampling are
expected in July, and that the anomalous targets will be further defined through
trenching and channel sampling for the next drilling programme which is planned
for the latter part of 2007.
