TALKTALK TELECOM GROUP PLC (TALK.LN) said there has been a
"significant and sustained" cyberattack on the telecommunications
group's website, resulting in the launch of a criminal
investigation by the British police.
At 1146 GMT, shares were down 11.5 pence, or 4.3%, at 257
pence.
WILLIAM HILL PLC (WMH.LN), the betting company, said its
third-quarter results were hit by a decline in gross win margins
and higher gambling duties.
Shares -28.6 pence, or 8.3%, at 317 pence.
Shares in CABLE & WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS PLC (CWC.LN), the
telecommunications group, rose after LIBERTY GLOBAL PLC (LBTYA)
confirmed it's in discussions about a possible offer.
Shares +4.8 pence, or 6.8%, at 74.8 pence.
NIGHTHAWK ENERGY PLC (HAWK.LN), an oil group, said it has found
oil at two wells in Colorado and abandoned a third well as part of
a five-hole drilling program.
Shares -0.5 pence, or 14%, at 2.9 pence.
NEW WORLD OIL & GAS PLC (NEW.LN), an oil and gas group, said
it has negotiated a 12-month extension to its production-sharing
agreement for the oil and gas explorer's Blue Creek Project in
Belize.
Shares -0.01 pence, or 7.4%, at 0.1 pence.
CEB RESOURCES PLC (CEB.LN), the investment company, has
requested its shares be temporarily suspended from trading on AIM
pending the publication of an announcement on Oct. 26.
Shares +0.1 pence, or 11%, at 1.2 pence.
APPLIED GRAPHENE MATERIALS PLC (AGM.LN), a graphene
manufacturer, said it has entered into a joint development
agreement with Puralube Germany GmbH, or Puraglobe, a German based
lubricants and oils business.
Shares +15 pence, or 6.3%, at 255 pence.
CYPROTEX PLC (CRX.LN), a pharmaceutical services group, said its
performance for the first nine months of the year has been ahead of
market expectations, driven by U.K. growth.
Shares +7 pence, or 10.7%, at 72.5 pence.
HOLDERS TECHNOLOGY PLC (HDT.LN), an electronics and lighting
components group, said revenue for the year ending Nov. 30 is
forecast to be 18% lower year-over-year at GBP11 million ($17.02
million), with an operating loss of GBP0.2 million, which it blamed
on a number of issues at its German printed circuit board
division.
Shares -7.5 pence, or 20%, at 30 pence.
ZAMANO PLC (ZMNO.LN), an Internet and mobile technology company,
said all discussions regarding the bid approach announced in August
have now been terminated, and the company is no longer in talks
regarding a possible takeover.
Shares -1.3 pence, or 10.2%, at 11 pence.
