LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Taihua Plc. said the European Directorate for
Quality of Medicines has requested data on certain aspects of the manufacturing
process of its paclitaxel anti-cancer compound.
The biotechnology company said it is now in the process of collating this
additional information.
On July 30, Taihua said the European regulators' feedback on the company's
application for a certificate of suitability for paclitaxel was expected before
the end of the year.
