Statement Regarding Taas Yuriakh
The Board of Urals Energy notes recent press speculation regarding Taas Yuriakh ('Taas'),
one of the Company's strategic assets in East
Siberia. The Company currently owns a 35.3 per cent stake in Taas.
The Company confirms that it is currently considering different options for the efficient
development of this important asset, including
the possibility of joint venture arrangements, but no agreement has been reached with any
company and there can be no assurance that any
such agreement will be reached.
Further announcements regarding the Company's strategic plans will be made, if
appropriate.
