PLANO, Texas, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TGC Industries, Inc. (AMEX:TGE) today announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase its seventh ARAM ARIES seismic recording system. This Windows driven system provides high-speed data recovery and monitoring capabilities along with automated geophysical data characterization. The Company plans to take delivery within the next 45 days and will replace one of its two Opseis Eagle systems with the new ARAM ARIES, which is a 4,000 channel system.
