partnership with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling
(NFCC) to sponsor 110 adult financial education seminars for
approximately 2,000 people in Boston, Florida, New York
City, Metro Washington D.C., Philadelphia, North
Carolina and South
Carolina.
NFCC member agencies will host the seminars, scheduled through
Dec. 31, 2015, with a focus on
budgeting and basic financial management skills, understanding
credit reports and scores, and preparing for home ownership. The
seminars are geared towards adults and college students with topics
such as "Show Me the Money" and "Credit Reports and Scores." These
diverse seminars will be led by NFCC member agencies with support
from TD employee volunteers.
