TD Ameritrade total client assets rose 11% to $310B in Feb. (TD Ameritrade Holdin)

        NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. said late Tuesday
it executed 284,000 client trades per day in February, up 8% from the year
earlier, and down 18% from the prior month.
    Total client assets rose 11% to $310 billion from the year-ago period.
Average investable assets rose 9% to $31.7 billion year-over-year. Average
fee-based investment balances jumped 61% to $77.3 billion from a year ago, and
rose 32% from the previous month.
    The Omaha, Neb.-based investment services company's stock ended the regular
session at $16.52, up 3%.
