The Swiss franc that eased from its early highs against the currencies of U.K., Japan and U.S. in early European deals on Friday has been declining thereafter.

The franc is now trading at 1.5418 against the pound, compared to yesterday's close of 1.5383.

Against the greenback and the yen, the franc is trading at a 2-day low of 0.9824 and a new 1-1/2-month low of 80.01, respectively.
