    Substantial Shareholding

    Baobab Resources Plc ("Baobab" or "the Company") (AIM: BAO) was notified on 8 May 2008
that Millridge Holdings Pty. Limited, a company
owned by Mr Alexander ("Jon") Crowe, the market relations manager of the Company, purchased
50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.25p per
share on 23 April 2008 and 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.50p on 24 April 2008.

    Following this purchase, Mr Crowe's beneficial interest in the Company is as set out
below:

    *Mr Crowe holds 2,000,001 directly, 5,250,000 Ordinary Shares indirectly by R J Broadhurst

Pty Limited of which Mr Crowe is a
shareholder.
