OSLO (Thomson Financial) - Subsea 7 Inc said it has been awarded three
underwater engineering deals in the North Sea by Venture Production, worth a
combined $67 million.
"These new projects are for the subsea development of the Grouse, Stamford
and Chestnut P2 fields," the Norwegian firm said.
The three projects will be executed as a combined offshore campaign in the
third and fourth quarters using the recently acquired Seven Navica pipelay
vessel, the firm said.
Separately, Subsea 7 said it has been awarded a subsea installation deal by
Ithaca Energy, also in the North Sea, worth $22 million.
