SEATTLE, May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stonepath Group, Inc. (AMEX:STG) today announced the results of its 2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
At the meeting, Stonepath stockholders re-elected to the Company's Board of Directors, Dennis Pelino (Chairman), John Springer, J. Douglass Coates, David Jones, Aloysius T. Lawn, IV, and Rob McCord. Stockholders also approved the issuance of more than 8,698,832 shares of Common Stock under a convertible note and warrant issued to Laurus Master Fund, Ltd. ("Laurus") and certain additional convertible notes which may be issued to Laurus in the future. Additionally, stockholders ratified the appointment of Grant Thornton LLP as the Company's independent auditors for the year ending December 31, 2006.
