Steve Kmetko Joins Bob Goen, Jon Kelley, Terry Murphy and Steve Lange Teaching Stars to Ace The Red Carpet Cameras

CHICAGO, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Famed Hollywood Entertainment Reporter, Steve Kmetko, has joined the upstart Media Training firm, J2 Strategic Communications (http://j2sc.com/). The former front man for the E! Channel will be part of the Entertainment arm of the month old company. Kmetko teams up with J2SC's former journalists Bob Goen (Entertainment Tonight), Jon Kelley (Extra), Terry Murphy (Hard Copy) and producer, Steve Lange (Extra).

"It's simply amazing the number of Hollywood stars who know how to 'work' in front of a camera, but not how to be themselves in front of one," says Kmetko. "They're trotted out to promote their latest projects, but without a script, miss a great opportunity to connect more directly with the audience. They just don't know how to handle -- or when called for -- skillfully deflect a reporter's probing questions."

Jim Lichtenstein, Co-Founder of J2SC says, "The goal is to quietly help 'Clooney-ize' those in Hollywood who really need it." Lichtenstein adds, "We want to give the entertainment industry an easy way to make sure their stars will effectively promote their projects and themselves. Who better to teach the art of being interviewed than those that have been on the other side of the microphone?"

J2SC is a Chicago based Media Training firm specializing in News / Business / Entertainment / Sports / Health Care / Politics / Talk Shows and Talent Development. Started in February 2008 by producer Jim Lichtenstein and former Chicago News Anchor Joan Esposito, J2SC's goal is to teach clients how to successfully get their message across while being interviewed by the news media. Each member of the J2SC Media Training staff has decades of specialized experience in television either as a reporter or producer. Our 12 former journalists have a total 345 years of television experience.
