PUBLICATION OF FINAL TERMS

The Final Terms dated 16 August 2016 relating to the issue by Standard Chartered PLC on 19 August 2016 of US$1,000,000,000 2.100 per cent. Senior Unsecured Fixed Rate Notes due 2019, US$750,000,000 Senior Unsecured Floating Rate Notes due 2019 and US$1,250,000,000 4.300 per cent. Dated Subordinated Notes due 2027 (together, the "Notes") have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and are available for viewing.

The Notes have been issued under the US$77,500,000,000 Debt Issuance Programme established by Standard Chartered PLC, Standard Chartered Bank and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.

Application has been made for the Notes to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange with effect from 19 August 2016.
