OVERLAND, Kan. (AP) - Sprint Nextel Corp., the nation's third-largest
wireless carrier, on Monday named Steven L. Elfman president of network
operations and wholesale -- a new position -- effective May 4.
Elfman was previously president and chief operating officer of Motricity
Inc., a mobile data technology services company.
Sprint Nextel's two wireless networks serve about 54 million customers.
