Vehicles & Services ("Spartan" or "Spartan FVS"), a business
unit of Spartan Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAR), will host a job fair
this coming weekend complete with a hot dog cookout, raffle
give-a-ways and plant tours. The celebratory twist on an otherwise
traditional hiring event is an effort to attract a wide range of
applicants to fill entry-level and supervisory positions.
The event will be held on Saturday, July
22 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Spartan's Utilimaster facility located
at 603 Earthway Blvd. in Bristol,
Indiana.
Spartan is hiring for first-, second-, and third-shift
positions, including: general assemblers; production supervisors;
troubleshooting electricians; machine operators; and skilled
painters. The pay range for skilled and salaried positions will be
based on applicant experience and will be determined during the
interview process.
Entry-level general assembly positions start at more than
$15 per hour.
