SolarCraft, a leader in solar energy electric and thermal system design
and installation, announced today that Bruce W. King has joined their
company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. King’s
experience managing financial infrastructure of fast growing companies
will help lead SolarCraft as they continue to expand in the dynamic
solar energy market.
A former Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. King was most
recently the Chief Financial and Operations Officer of the Coaches
Training Institute (CTI), based in San Rafael. Prior to joining CTI,
Bruce was co-owner and President of Kingsbrook Foods, where sales grew
more than four-fold over his tenure.
"The experience with fast growing companies that Bruce brings to
SolarCraft is invaluable at this stage," says SolarCraft’s
President, Bill Stewart. "As we continue to expand, he will play a
crucial role in our growth and management."
A Kentfield native, Mr. King received his BA in economics from Colgate
University, and his MBA from NYU’s Stern
School of Business. He is also a licensed CPA. Mr. King lives in Novato
with his wife, Alexandra, and 2 children.
SolarCraft has also expanded its offices at 285 Bel Marin Keys Boulevard
in acquiring an additional 6,200 square feet of office and warehouse.
This brings the total area owned and leased by SolarCraft in the
building to over 14,000 square feet.

California. For more than 24 years the certified “Green
