Softchoice, a leading North American IT solution and managed service provider, is pleased to announce they are winners of the 2017 Microsoft Canada IMPACT Award for Windows 10 Innovation. IMPACT Awards recognize Microsoft Canada partners who are leading the path to innovation in the mobile-first, cloud-first world.

“Today’s business users demand easy access to their work tools regardless of what device they’re on, be it a tablet, smartphone or laptop,” said Kevin Wright, Senior Vice President of Solutions and Services, Softchoice. “Windows 10 offers that converged, unified experience, however, making the leap to a new operating system is no small decision and no small undertaking. As a leading Microsoft partner, Softchoice has served as trusted advisor to customers in both the private and public sectors to evaluate, optimize and deploy Windows 10 to thousands of computers and mobile devices.”

The Windows 10 Innovation award recognizes a Microsoft enterprise partner for exceptional innovation in embracing Windows as a Service and the Windows 10 platform, and building a solution that delivered exceptional consumer value.

Softchoice was recognized for a solution that it collaborated on with i3 Solutions, migrating their award-winning healthcare application called Panacea to Windows 10 for two leading edge hospitals. Softchoice created a unifying infrastructure strategy that enabled Panacea to work efficiently and securely on the hospitals’ mobile devices used by patients and caregivers – cutting admin time for nurses by 30 percent and creating an innovative on-demand experience for patients.

“The IMPACT Awards recognize Microsoft’s community of partners, system integrators and service providers who are committed to the pursuit of quality and innovation,” said Jason Brommet, Commercial Channel Lead, Microsoft Canada. “In this mobile-first, cloud-first era, the work that Softchoice is doing to help small and mid-sized businesses innovate and digitally transform is more important than ever.”
