NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Silvercorp Metals Inc. Monday said
fourth-quarter sales doubled from the same period a year ago, rising to $26.8
million from $13.4 million.
The mining company sold 1 million ounces of silver during the quarter at the
average price of $12.89 per ounce. Silvercorp sold 461 ounces of gold were sold
for an average price of $491.86 per ounce.
Shares of Silvercorp rose 16 Canadian cents, or 2.2%, to C$743 on Monday.
