Miles Flint, former President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications,
has become a senior advisor to the firm. Flint brings more than 25 years
of technology industry experience, in a broad range of business

Flint, 54, was most recently President of Sony Ericsson Mobile
Communications from 2004 through 2007. During his time with Sony
Ericsson, sales doubled, profits tripled and Sony Ericsson migrated from
its position as a niche provider of mobile phones to a supplier of a
full portfolio of products in the global market. Prior to joining Sony
Ericsson, Flint spent 13 years at Sony, latterly as President of
Marketing at Sony Europe while concurrently holding the position of
Managing Director of Sony United Kingdom Limited. Earlier in his career,
Flint held a series of marketing and product development roles in the
fields of computing and telecommunications, first at ICL and then at STC
following the merger of the two companies.
