Siemens AG (SIEGY, SIE.XE) said it has received a contract
valued at $648 million to provide 175 light-rail cars for the San

The contract has an option for another 85 cars.
Siemens said the first deliveries are scheduled to take place by

The company will produce a newly developed light rail car based
