NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Sharper Image late Monday reported a
third-quarter net loss of $22.7 million, or $1.50 a share, wider than the $1.44
mean loss estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial.
Sales fell 35% to $69.5 million, above Wall Street's consensus view of
$67.40 million.
In the same period a year earlier, the San Francisco-based specialty
retailer lost $22.7 million, or $1.50 a share, on sales of $106.2 million.
