BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Shares of Xenonics Holdings Inc. rallied
Tuesday after the Carlsbad, Calif.-based maker of advanced illumination and
low-light viewing products said it had received $4 million in new purchase
orders.
The purchase orders for Xenonics' NightHunter devises include about $3.2
million from the U.S. Army and $0.8 million from Aardvark Tactical Inc.
Shares of Xenonics jumped 17% to $1.73 on volume of 248,253, well above its
30-day average of 72,953 shares.
