TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

Severn Trent Plc ("Severn Trent") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 97 17/19 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange from Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC. Such purchase was effected pursuant to irrevocable instructions issued by Severn Trent to Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC on 13 February 2015, as announced on the same day:

Severn Trent intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Following the above transaction, Severn Trent holds none of its Ordinary Shares in treasury and has 238,832,106 Ordinary Shares in issue.
