LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Scholastic Corp. said Wednesday its board of
directors has authorized the company to buy back a further $20 million of its
common stock to offset the negative impact of stock-based compensation on
earnings.
The buyback authorization comes on top of a recently completed $20 million
share repurchase program announced in 2007.
