Major Shareholder's Announcement
 
 With reference to Section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act (værdipapirhandels-loven) Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker Aktieselskab today informed Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S (the "Company") that Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker Aktieselskab on 9 November 2017, following purchase of shares, now holds shares in total amounting to more than 25% of the share capital in the Company.

Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker Aktieselskab thus controls 25,099,940 shares with a nominal value of DKK 1 (aggregate nominal value DKK 25,099,940) corresponding to 25.1% of the total share capital of the Company.

Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker Aktieselskab is owned by the Augustinus Foundation.
